>>55184264I'm happy with the Vpet and TGC scenes to finally coming to the west full force, and some fo the model kits are divine, especially the standard amplified sets (got BWgreymon and Machinedramon myself), but those fuckers at Bamco still owe us that Olympos XII Story game they've cockteased us with for the past 4 years. Not to mention that Survive basically had no marketing and was clearly announced way too early. Bamco need to find their balance with Digimon because they flip-flop between oversharing and not saying anything.
As for the anime, the 02 movie sucked, don't pretend otherwise. The new character sucked, the new Digimon sucked, half the cast did absolutely nothing of worth, they STILL didn't give us Megas (Ultimates) for Silphymon or Shakkoumon (I just wanted something that isn't VIkemon ffs). Also, half of the fans full on shat on 2020 when it was airing, so it wasn't the win you think it was. I liked 2020, but the nips were indifferent to downright pissy about it and unlike Pokémon, nip fan response is still a major deciding factor for Digimon.
TL;DR: VG presence basically nonexistent, Vpet, TCG and kit Chads are golden right now, anime is shaky don't delude yourself into thinking we're back to Tamers level of GOATed.
