damn if only there was a free app I could use that had the GTS on it that lets me trade with people who are playing sword and shield along with every other switch game so there's a big pool of people to trade with. Oh well, better cry on a chinese basket weaving forum instead.

Oh gee I only need to close the game, boot up and use the HOME app on the Switch, move the Pokemon I want to trade into the box, then get my phone and open the HOME app. Instead of just having it in-game without the extra steps. How convenient! Maybe we should also just remove online battling and raids and make it exclusive to the HOME app too

what does that have to do with it being split onto two consoles
there's no reason the switch version shouldn't be able to access the same GTS servers

Really, Home just makes it obvious that Pokemon should turn into a service game already with each game being a new "expansion". Moving stuff between each game and Home is clunky
