A shillmon starter in particular is particularly insidious because of how they'll be treated vastly as superior to the other starters regardless of whether the audience feels the same way or not
They'll be the obvious favorite of the director and theyll be portrayed as cooler, stronger, more "special" than the other Starters while the non shilled Starters are intentionally made to look lamer/worse by comparison which begins to make you wonder why the fuck they even made 3 Starters to begin with
They'll be consistent advertised everywhere while the others are treated as leftovers or an afterthought at best (maybe if they're lucky they'll be treated a little better after their gen is over)
That's what a Shillmon is and that is what Incineroar and Cinderace are (or at least were)
