So basically you have all the information needed to not be taken by surprise and it becomes a literal game of chance rather than actual mind gaming and knowledge. Why exactly is VGC okay with this degenerate playstyle? It completely ruins the gens main gimmick as well, which is unironically the most fun thing about it. Why would anyone actively participate in this tournament for fun and why would anyone even bother with such a low cash prize anyway?
