>>55206152Unova has the ugliest Pokémon, but Gens 8-9 aren't even Pokémon. That's one way to put it. I don't feel like gens 8-9 being the absolute worst gives a pass to Unova, it's just that it's a different level of bad.
Of course Galvantula and Escavalier are cool but for the most part there's zero reason to prefer 95% of the dex to the previous 4 generations, something fundamentally changed in design philosophy right there.
Gen 6 is good and introduces like 60 mons and Megas so it's okay, and I dislike the hawaian themes for Gen 7 but a lot of people like them (and Ultra Beasts are ultra Kino)
