I don't think zoomers have ever replayed their ds games from childhood so I just let them cook and remember that they'll never be game designers.
Every mainline game past Gen 2 plays worse than Gen 1 and has infinitely more retarded mechanics in place of simple gameplay.

hmm maybe because the area might have Pokemon I want other than Geodude

if only this was a well designed game like PLA where I could actually see the Pokemon in the overworld so I can hunt the stuff I'm interested in and ignore the stuff I'm not interested in instead of having to scroll through the slow as fuck bag to use a repel and stop seeing literally anything

oh well, guess I'm stuck with this dogshit game people pretend is good for some reason

Better designed Pokemon games like RSE or XY balanced the random encounters by making each area have relatively unique Pokemon to keep it engaging. But a dogshit game like Platinum will just keep spamming geodude and machop at you in each new area.
