Add two rivals, one is a fucking pussy like the usual rival who takes the starter thats weak against yours, and the second one is the rude asshole who is always ahead of you two, always bullies and assaults the gym leaders they defeat, actively helps the main evil team (btw you should be able to join the evil team too), and even becomes the champion before you two do.

I liked the small stuff Naicker added such as corrupted pokemons which are basically mini bosses and shinies in 1 (except they're pre-placed shinies) with their own gallery/achievement list so you're trying to capture all, and you automatically capture them from how much I remember.

He also added some stupid ninja kid like a Where's Waldo kinda deal which gives you a reason to interact with every object in the game because he gives you rewards.
It's neat, but kinda simple, you guys got a better idea to spice it up?

One feature which all video game developers have struggled with are multiple pathways and in other media trying to appeal to everyone.

I like Megaman that had the right idea of letting you choose which levels you want to play. The problem with that is that you need to pretty much make everything same difficulty (which doesn't work in a RPG unless we use level adjustments) and also some levels in Megaman were way harder than others due to level layout and environmental conditions, nobody wants to play the water level or tower level with endless spikes.

However I want to go one step further, much more autistic in an audio visual media way.
I want something called rainbow execution; different directors take their own jab at the same scene in an entirely different execution and obviously beyond changing the music and some dialogue it's almost impossible to redesign the same scene through multiple genres without putting in an insane amount of extra work otherwise it either turns into a grey blob mess that doesn't specialize in anything (worse than most adventure media) or it turns into a contradicting disjointed mess like Fritz the Cat (like most amateur fanfics that edge too much in 6 different directions at the same time rather than waiting their turn) .forgot how # works

Something as simple as making every wild pokemon, trainer and gym leader scale up in levels and strength with more pokemons being added to their teams for each gym badge you gain would make any pokemon game feel way less linear because youd get to choose how you want to play
