>>55222422I think it is more "if it hinders the strategy/team they personally favor prior to the testing", the thing is that if someone gives enough of a ass to participate in a vote it is either because their strategy is REALLY dependent on the mon (And if enough people/strats use said mon it gets "Landorus immunity" because no one wanna ruin their own strat/team even if it means ruining those it struggles with) or that they already decided that they want a ban prior to the testing and the testing is to find reasons.
That said, there is some fun shit like the Zamazenta situation, where in spite of being touted as superior prior (due "Common Knowledge" that Boots/Lefties/Band>Shield) Hero passed the test after Crowned failed and got kicked to Ubers, but with a lot of the Hero voters/testers explicitly saying they went in gunning for a ban but it was THAT underwhelming they changed their mind or something like that so people can change their minds during tests, but i think it is usually not something that sways like that, keep in mind that the Zamazentas were tested pretty close to eachother.
