If you're too lazy to google, the game generates the pattern every time it's needs to, there aren't literally a million spinda on the gba cartridge. I'd also recommend to look up stan from monkey island, a similar but also very different idea was used there from a even smaller team.
I mention this because if there ever was a spinda evo I'd recommend this as a gimmick instead.
