I hate how Game Freak for once managed to introduce a good character with some good plot points in the first part of the DLC and then abandoned whatever story they set up and handwaved the conclusion.

Conceptually I don't mind what Game Freak attempted to do with Kieran. The problem is that they didn't execute it well in The Indigo Disk.
