Just exploring and catching new mons was fun. Going trough rock tunnel without flash hm and using a fucking flashlight to try and see shit was hillarious in hindsight. Missingno and the mew glitch were so fun to read on the internet and then try and do it yourself. I had a friend who had a linkcable so we battled eachother every week. His golem vs my charizard both lvl 100. Were some of the best moments of my life. Pomemon, wii, nintendo, flash games on newgrounds and early youtube. Friend moved to the UK never saw him again. Were friends for over 10 years. Combine this with collecting pokemon cards during ex era and you got pokemon in it's prime. Will never be the same for me again.
