I know it's kinda just a lore thing but they really should use generations instead of regions for these type of situations. Would solve this, the Meltan weirdness, the poke shifter nonsense, etc

By Bulbapedia's autism basically no Pokémon appear in all any regions anymore because apparently Kitakami counts as its own region. So Magnemite and Psyduck just no longer count anymore.
