And they all insert you into these friendships and presuppose that you give a shit about your MC's relationship with the friend group, or the friends' relationship with each other. Actually forming a friendship with these characters in real life and also seeing them bond with each other as you progress is what made this one so good unlike the gen 6 shitters nobody cares about.
