How do you clean a plush?

I bought a Lilligant plush from a store on clearance, it was kinda dusty and dirty, but because it was cheap so I figured what the hell. I feel like tossing it into the washer and dryer would be a bad idea, any tips? The dirt seems to go deep into it so will need the stronger option.

wash them with your own hands and then use the dryer. Also use wipes on them periodically.

Soak in OxyClean - the longer the better. Even overnight. Then, wash in your washing machine. After it's done, start the machine again - but this time on 'Rinse' cycle to get the last of the suds and dirt off. I can't remember if a certain water temperature for the wash cycles is recommended, maybe cold water? Don't use your dryer - it can really mess up certain plushie fabrics. Air dry to keep the fabric soft.

I can speak from experience that I have ruined several plushies over the years by using the dryer. Fabrics that are extra silky/fluffy are particularly easy to ruin this way

Just use Clorox disinfecting wipes to scrub all the dead skin people rub off on them when they rub the plushies against their face. I wish they wouldn't do it either but that's just how it is I guess

Well OP already rearranged it's guts which destroys the distribution of the stuffing so putting it in the dryer won't change much

I literally don't get these jokes like how sexually repressed do you have to be to want to ejaculate on a plush toy, make even less sense than the ones who do on a figure. At least a figure is plastic so you can wash it clean easily.

get towel, soak in water and dish soap. wring out all the water from the towel. gently wipe down the plushy, do not get it too wet.

let it air dry, or put on fluff dry (no heat) in your dryer
