Honestly gen 9 is a failure of game freak.
>Stiff, robotic animations
>Dead overworld
>NPCs have little to no expressions
>Graphic looks sometimes good sometimes bad
>Raids are bugged as fuck
>Online features are worse than in SWSH, literally castrated
>Everything feels like beta version of the final product, game glitches or slow downs there and there, water bodies drops fps

I agree with this. They clearly built the map with the ride pokemon in mind. They should focus on how it would be like to traverse the map without it.

Yeah. They fucked up in focusing any amount of time on the Union Circle. No one asked for it, and not being able to play with random people made it so most people ignored it.

You're exactly right. Place where the game doesn't drop fps are extremely rare. Even the credits have frame drops, which is just embarrassing.

There are worse game developers, but they're certainly the biggest to be so awful. The way SV was released was sad, few games run as badly. At least it seems they finally caught some flak over it.

That's something I really had an issue with at all the Pokemon Centers dotted around; despite the seats and tables there was never anyone hanging out at them except at (from what I can recall) Cabo Poco, the south entrance to Mesagoza and the center before Porto Marinada. The rest had none except the same two attendants at every single one with the odd Pokémon League representative. It would have been nice to have a couple of NPCs hanging out at each of them saying things while they took a break but they didn't even bother with that. Funnily enough they did actually decide to fix that with the Terarium since they did have a few different NPCs at each of the rest stops which was nice, though it couldn't make up for Paldea's issues there.

I think a lot of that is how they changed the camera angles so that you can't see them turn on their heels, even though they do...
But nta, but also how we are on gen 9, and still don't have even the beginning of voice, even animal crossing/sims nonsense would at least be something substantial.

Blame Pokemon GO, which literally started as a Google April Fools Joke that normalfags ate up so much that they wanted it to be a real game.
Without GO, GameFreak might have actually been forced to make good games in order to recover from Yo-Kai Watch completely mogging Pokemon in Japan prior to GO.
