>>55263563 is both an idiot and a poorfag for offering such trash for a prime cut. Allow me to explain in great detail.
If it's not a shiny non-legend, then it's what he would call a bulk rare. You keep it in your binder, or in this case your box, and it sits to rot until some casual or lazy collector comes along and asks for it and offers peanuts in return. This is usually paid for, not with a trade or money, but by simply buying the other party a drink from behind the counter at an LGS. It doesn't matter if it's a shitmon like Lechonk, a waifumon like Gardevoir, or a pain in the ass to catch mon like Metagross. They're all worthless trash that can be mass-produced in current year.
Shiny legends on the other hand are harder to shiny hunt. These are the bare minimum for trades. Then you have the pre-Victini shiny mythicals: Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Darkrai, and Shaymin. These pokemon can be legally shiny hunted, and therefore, can be "fair hacked". While this reduces their value, they are still considered valuable. Manaphy is the exception as obtaining one legitimately is so exceedingly improbable. Finally, you have event exclusive shinies (which are normally shiny locked) and version exclusive legends from the CURRENT generation (which have short supply and high demand). These are prime trade capital. Any trader worth his salt should either be offering one or asking for one when offering an exclusive legend. At the top of the trade pyramid lies the most obvious currency, money. It shouldn't come to a surprise that whales hold the most bargaining power in the form of having extra accounts for more capital or outright buying the desired mon.
TL;DR pecking order: money (duh) >>>>> event shiny legends/mythicals and current generation exclusive legends >>> pre-Victini shiny mythicals >> shiny huntable legends >>> rare balls > ability patch >>> ALL non-legend shinies
