>>55253327I'm talking about the scene whey they kick that Munna or whatever. That shit was fucking retarded. The thing is that they seemed morally grey at first which was interesting, and then the story shits its pants and goes "haha guess what they are just the plain old shitty people like the all previous evil teams lol"
SV has a great setup with the Raidon's which immediately sets up a mystery that you are curious to find more about. Then you have fleshes out side characters like Arven who is related to the finale, but also has his own thing going on. Like he has a personality other than being the professor's son, and you have to get to him first before you find that out. I kinda missed this with N, who had a similar role but ultimatively just felt a like a plot device.
I also liked the twist that Team Star is actually not antagonistic. Team Yell tried something similar but failed tremendously, so it was nice to see it properly executed.
Then there's the whole mystery around Paradox Pokémon and Area Zero that keeps being teased throughout the game. Area Zero itself delivers very well, it's a very otherworldly area with great music that is fit for all the stuff they teased. (This is where SM failed, for example). And additionally to that, you also have the 3 main NPCs of the game interact with each other, which is both fun and feels like intertwining all 3 story lines into a finale.
The twist with the professor was cool too. The only reason I didn't see it coming is cause
I thought they just had shitty animations due to GFs incompetence lolIt all builds up to a great and pretty difficult final fight, or two technically speaking. I know a lot of people didn't like how scripted the Raidon fight felt, but I thought it was neat as a little extra. Really liked the way they used UI elements that broke the 4th wall a little.
