ok sure, but you could play online since the DS and simply having online pokemon battles doesn't say much for the game itself. the singleplayer is godawful with shit graphics and a horrific camera. the singleplayer is so retarded it makes you want to kill yourself. I actually tried to play a romhack that makes it harder and still couldn't force myself because the game is still so gay and retarded with shit controls, camera, graphics, etc. they spent all of their time making the 3d models so they could use them in the coming games, then ran out of time/rushed the fuck out of the rest of the game. I would like the game more if it was just a battle simulator with online with absolutely no plot at all because at least it wouldn't be a game with dogshit gay as fuck singleplayer, which it is.
I beat all the games. XY made me not play any pokemon games for years because it was so fucking offensively bad. even if you're an actual retarded toddler who grows up to be gay, you would be offended by how gay, shitty and fucking retarded it is. Didn't play gen 7-9 until near the end of last year because I finally decided to see how shit they were and they were all bad too but XY is definitely the worst one that's seriously just low quality unfinished trash. 7 was like watching winx club, didn't even feel like a game, 8 was like XY where it's so easy and bland and forgettable with a fucking retarded pointless "evil" team but a little less gay than XY but still the wild area is clearly a beta for gen 9, 9 also seems unfinished even though they keep releasing dlc so they're clearly just cranking out slop, they can't even be FUCKED to release the rest of the pokemon, probably because they can't get them to work. Only delusional people whose childhood was XY can like it.
