the switch era is trash
>can't obtain every pokemon in one game>forced exp share>gimping movepools by either outright cutting moves like Pursuit and Signal Beam or forcing transfer mons to forget their current moves>really bad graphics that don't make up for cut content>friendship and affection merged into one mechanic>online features are locked behind a paywand depending on what game it is
>no battle facilities>no option to turn off battle animations>no set mode>no abilities>no held items>toby fox and/or ed sheeran ruining the soundtrack with their shitty musicthe Switch era is unarguably the worst era of Pokemon. how is it that there are people who still insist that there are games worse than every single game in pic related? only gen 1 and to a lesser extent gen 2 come close to being this barebones but those are the two oldest gens in the series so the only reason they are missing some features is because they either weren't thought of yet or because of the limitations of technology at the time
