Bros... I'm tired.
I've been a fan of Pokémon ever since I was a kid, much like you (presumably). In that time, I've encountered a handful or two of shiny mons. It's always been a wonderful experience, I still have my first one from when I was a kid stored away. Recently though, I decided I was going to shiny hunt a Swirlix. The stupid little thing looks just like my childhood dog with its shiny coloration and I want it desperately. So, off I went! I figured this would be a couple days long adventure, maybe a week if I was unlucky. Here I am closing in on 2 weeks out with (extremely conservatively) about 75 hours invested and thousands of these little bastards KO'd with nothing in sight. I need the motivation to keep going, primarily in the form of your anecdotes.
Tell me anon: what were some of your longest shiny hunts? Any interesting stories you'd like to share? I need something, anything, to read while I slave away at finding this stupid cartoon dog.
