Like, the overworld artstyle ruins RSE, and while it's not as bad as in XY it's still not great. The worst part is ORAS is in Gen 6 using a very similar art style, so we'll probably never see an actual good version of Hoenn.
As a side note, holy shit that screenshot is really bad. Like, there's an argument it looks worse than Gen 5's battles, which are easily the weakest part of that game.
