I, for one, approve of the constant Palworld "cultural enrichment" program. Pokemon is a stagnant franchise, and the bulk majority of /vp/ has been just a place in which fans could express their complaints over its direction. Palworld is a fresh concept and welcome competitor, and the discussion about it and what its implications might mean for Pokemon itself is more interesting when compared to the obligatory waifu threads or sharty bait.

Pokemon definitely geared itself into a competing stance with something as minor as Yo Kai Watch, so that pattern will likely repeat with Palworld. Perhaps they'll add survival aspects to new titles, or actually improve the games through applying the postgame model of Gen 4.

Yeah, I want to see Palworld BTFO Pokemon, Pokemon is due for a competitor. I want to see TPC and their retarded slopshit get knocked down a few to several pegs because maybe then they'll make good fucking games for once. Or not, in all honesty I am probably going to stay away from Pokemon at least for a few years if I hate the announcements on Pokemon day. It's what I did back in late 2020-early 2021.
