>>55280955What do you think the "difference" between developing a pc game is to developing a switch game? In fact it is much easier to optimize for console games because you know exactly what kind of hardware there will be while the consumer's PC could be whatever the fuck.
Also it's not about pure graphical fidelity, it's about the care put in level design and composition of levels. Think of a generic landscape slop vs a handcrafted level with deliberately presented landmarks. The platform it's being made for makes no difference in that aspect.
