And it's coming from someone who played Pokémon Red and Yellow during the Pokémania in the late 90s and at least one main game for each gen since then. Most oldschool fans actually agree with this. People who shit on SV are nostalgiafags and zoomers who don't understand much about video games.
Yes the visuals are bad and the general optimization is laughably shit. But from a gameplay and mechanics point of view, you know what actually count, they're really good.
Not saying we should ignore the technical issues, I wouldn't buy another game releasing in this state but people thinking they're bad games are objectively wrong.
