So what's the deal with the starter lines from 151, the first two of each line (like bulbasaur and ivysaur) are extremely cheap for the japanese version, but then the SIRs (or whatever they call them there, Venusaur ex for example) is even more expensive then the english version. Is this due to their pull rates in Japan, or some other factor?
It's interesting sorting out all these market differences, but I'm an enormous nerd. And I still don't understand why the Japanese cards are cheaper in the first place, especially considering shipping, unless pull rates are that much more generous, or exchange rates crush the yen or something.
