The racoon should be the fire type being that a lot of garbage is flamable, and it could be a fire/poison line.
The skunk should be a grass type, and instead of smelling like shit it uses aroma therapy. grass fairy
The Possom being water type is accurate being that it's found in creeks from time to time. It should be water ghost since it plays dead.

Grass type, just gets bigger. Its signature move is brapping out a cloud of powder and introduces a new Stinky weather type. A skunk starter would have to be grass because they'd never have a pokemon like this farting out fire or pissing out water.
>Raccoon
Water type, based around cleaning and evolves into a janny, ability and moves themed around cleaning up garbage, and also eating garbage so it gets a water type HP draining move.
>Possum
Fire type, themed around being dead with early access to suicide moves and a lot of recoil moves. Its final form becomes possum-shaped missile that's part steel and gets a signature move where it launches itself at the target and explodes, causing recoil damage but guaranteeing a burn.
