People who think palworld is going to light a fire under gamefreak's ass are in for a rude awakening. While they are undoubtedly going to take notes (why wouldn't they) its extremely unlikely that they will have anything to show for it for a few more years. Yo Kai watch first released in 2013 and Sun and Moon didn't come out until a few years later. Palworld only just came out and they're likely getting close to showing off Generation 10 next month. Expect another few years of slop if anything before they actually show off what they have cooking that takes inspiration from Palworld's success. Pokemon is not immediately going to start making better games just because Palworld is blowing up rn
