Why do ultra sun and ultra moon even exist? Sun and Moon already exist and what new things do they add into the games? Also if these games are just Sun and Moon but more then is their a reason to even get just Sun and Moon?

These seem like the most pointless pokemon games out there.

Atleast black and white 2 has a reason to exist and that being its a sequel.
