>grass/dragon sceptileThis would ruin the type effectiveness triangle. Why not just switch Sceptile's attacking stats since Game Freak kept giving it physical moves? There are starter Pokemon in more need of a buff anyway like Meganium.
My hot take is that those three Pokemon don't need those typing, and Bug/Dragon is a shit STAB combo so this would make Flygon worse. Also it would become weak to Stealth Rock, new resistance to Ground is rendered moot because of Levitate, and it would get chip damage from Sandstorm.
Why not just make Flygon a special attacker if you want to set it apart from Garchomp? What is it with these suggestions that would actually make Pokemon worse than they already are, resulting in the opposite of what people want? Something similar would be taking away Snow Warning from Aurorus (especially after everyone begged for it to have Aurora Veil). Why would people want weak Pokemon buffed to end up suggesting things that would make them worse? Ideally Aurorus (and all the other fossil Pokemon before gen 8) should have a different typing like Ice/Electric and not all the asinine Sturdy/Solid Rock/Filter/Ice Scales/Multiscale suggestions that are dished out to literally every slow Pokemon with two double weaknesses.
