>>55315279For me it fixes a lot of what I don’t like about the base form.
1. The “pants” read less like clothes than the underwear, and look less naked.
2. The blank eyes fix the goofy and humanoid face of the base form.
3. The orange fists and long pants keep it from being a blob of blue/grey (Machoke has stripes to fix this)
4. It’s proportions are more exaggerated and less human, so it looks more like a Pokémon.
For me it redeems a Pokémon that was so ugly I have never considered using it.
