>>55317256Porn may be a factor, but I think general lack of in-person interaction with women in that format in his formative years could be a factor as well, so he may have simply not had that sort of experience by the time he reached his adult years. I don't really know, since I never closely followed the guy, I think I only fully watched an Earthbound Let's Play several years ago.
>>55317275>They could have told him "Fuck off" at any time and if he didn't then they'd have a case but neither the first chick or these whore Werster dug up did that. They retroactively decided to change thingsI've noticed that too. Of the people who have come forward with receipts, none have explicitly told him to stop, only for him to continue. His actions were still creepy, but nothing indicates him as a stalker, merely socially oblivious.
>>55317311>Ghosting is a silent way to say "fuck off, I'm not interested in talking about it anymore."Correct, but this isn't always easy to pick up on. It took me a good while to figure it out myself. And ghosting fails to bring closure, where the most one can do is speculate why the other party just got up and left.
I do understand why it happens, though. Some people will just get pushier if told no. I used to play vidya with a woman who had a guy straight-up stalk her, even after she repeatedly told him to fuck off, and threatened to get law enforcement involved if he kept trying to contact her. I'm upset that guys like that poison the well for those that are genuinely well-meaning, but socially retarded.
