>>55324953That would be a good idea yeah, but if you guys checked Pokémon history thorough the years you'd notice how much they hate (and most time even prohibit and block) pokemon games better than theirs (which doesn't only include hackmons and fan games for obvious reasons, but also real licensed games, for example, the changes the chinese version would do to pokemon Red and Blue, or the 2° movie flash game that Did you know gaming recently talked about)
This is a speculation on my part but I'm positive that games like Battle revolution, rangers, mistery dungeon, and most notably Colosseum/Gale of darkness are not being made anymore because they would be so much better than mainline games and that wouldn't sit well with GF, you probably noticed already how in the last uh... 6(?) years, pokèmon direct are always just "Pokemon go / Unite /Master sex / Cafe remix" + mainline, ALWAYS, EACH DIRECT, then something little out of the loop like pokemon sleep which is still a live service game who would probably be added with these "top 4", or something kind of new like New snap, and Detective Pikachu 2 (which, keep in mind, are not new stuff).
Also, according to latest (and not only those) interviews with GF, we know for a fact that they want to create a "new pokemon" (meaning a game as widely known and famous as Pokèmon, which is, personally speaking, an utopia for anyone, let alone spaghetti devs like them), apparently, their employees are separated in "Team 1" and "Team 2", Team 1 being the one trying to make a new sucessful game, while Team 2 being the one making Pokèmon.
The new game they talked about recently with GF + Take two, is most likely what they are investing more time in, while Pokèmon is being made with the "yeah it sells well anyway" mentality (this is again, speculation on my part)
Honestly speaking, I'm fairly convinced they don't give a shit about pokémon anymore, which saddens me to no end.
