the final battle in BtP is fucking amazing. the cutscene before and after kick ass. Rallen is the coolest, Jeena is adorbs and i've wanted to cosplay her since i was little, i'm so glad you could just outright play as her in the third game.
i kinda agree about spectrobes combat in BtP, since the AI is a little stupid, but that goes for the enemies too. BtP has Maja though so all is forgiven. Rallen's gameplay is great in that game, i wish they'd have let him fight the actual krawl instead of the little dusts, his new controls and weapons would make it super fun. maybe a dedicated hacker can figure it out.
fun fact: Jeena was going to be playable for the entire game in BtP right up until they were making the final build, but the game didn't have enough storage for both her and Rallen to have combat and overworld anims. i think they designed Origins from the ground up to allow swapping, which is why the Cosmolink comes in a set of two.
