My brother in christ pic related is the only non shitmon fire type you will find in Hoenn (and it’s worse than post ps split rapidash).
Don’t tell me you used Camerupt, Magcargo or Torkoal in a hoenn run because that’s a fucking lie. They all get walled by the most common type in the game that even has two type experts in emerald.
