>>55339981Based. Iron Bundle mogs the everliving shit out of Delibird competitively and design wise.
>>55339995nta - I didnt have it ranked in my list, but I like Frigibax as well. Or at least, dont hate it. It IS absolutely ugly, but that in and of itself isn't a dealbreaker, with the right context at least. A pre-evo being ugly doesnt bother me as much, as it's destined to evolve and change. I find Treecko pretty ugly too, but it doesn't bother me as it will inevitably become a Sceptile. Same idea with this guy.
What's more, is it's meant to be a reference to Minilla, Godzilla's ugly fucking retarded son from the Showa era. While this character itself is shitty, I enjoy the reference, and it's kaiju nature brings it more in line with Pokemon's origins as a whole.
It's also worth noting that there are different types of ugly. Something like Frigibax is ugly in the sort of way that I could see something naturally being ugly, like it's purposely meant to be so. It's not like Palafin where it seems ugly due to the designers own lack of ability, and more importantly, lacking in visual cohesion with the rest of the series. Yes it's ugly, but if you place Frigibax next to Bulbasaur, it doesnt look out of place. Palafin looks so utterly out of place next to Bulbasaur. Frigibax looks distinctively "Pokemon", Palafin looks distinctively "Toilet cleaning product".
>>55340910I'm not its #1 fan or anything, but I think Crabrawler is definitely overhated. Looks fairly distinct, monstrous, has a great color scheme. Teeth are a bit goofy, but it's also based on a goofy looking cryptid, and it has the nice advantage of giving an unusual territorial niche (with the evo line effectively climbing from beachfront to glacial peaks), which is cool and oddly plausible.
