People were utterly baffled by what they saw. I changed my mind on them when a new trailer showing walking pokemon, Poketch HMs, and Underground pokemon dropped. I had some faith at that point, at least they were trying to improve the base DP experience.

The only one of these that would improve anything if done right (which nothing bdsp added was) was the following pokemon. The underground was a shitty place to put new pokemon in when they could have just added them to the random encounters like Platinum did. Removing HMs is sterilizing nugen garbage.

If you’re an instagram whore that values nothing but "muh quality of life" then sure, however pokemon is supposed to be you traveling and going against a hostile environment with your team, and HMs perfectly encapsulate that. Which is why gens 7+ are not pokemon and never will be (gen 6 isn’t either but for other reasons).

You’re on 4chan. If anything you should fuck off if you’re just gonna spout opinions that are popular on twitter/reddit/youtube. DP and Crystal are among the best games in the series btw

Just make sure you pirate it because no modern Pokemon game is worth more than 30USD

Post your master rank team. At best, it’ll give anons ideas for their own. At worst, it’ll show how minmaxy this iteration of the Tower is, maybe shedding some light on the type of players who genuinely like it.

Better than dp but worse than platinum. It improved on some stuff like making the underground more interesting but taking away the decorations on the bases and switching them to only pokemon statues. Trainers, gym leaders and e4 have dp teams and over world only has dp pokemon. Underground doesn't have all the platinum pokemon and some pokemon can only be evolved into their third evo in post game.
