But then he got everything wrong from SV's release onward, most notably this DLC, on top of being a bitch on Twitter and making his "riddles" so cryptic that even if he knew something there was no way to know for sure that we wasn't just bulshitting around.
In retrospect it seems clear that he had second hand informations most of the time, which where clearer and more direct at first but then he either stopped receiving it or was just so second-hand that a good chuck turned out completely false.
