Why do Gamefreak hate Decidueye? They've done nothing but sabotage it every turn and corner. They even deliberately made it weak in VGC

If anything starters after Gen 5 were when GF started to min/max them so they'd actually be viable. A BST of 535 isn't really enough to support a mixed attacker that also has good defenses, but by pushing every starter into physical or special and using the other as the dump stat it means the newer starters can actually be good.

I hope he has a steady enough fanbase to get one of those 1:1 scale plushes eventually. I think there's just a bias to fire starters, even the popular water ones like Greninja and Yaiobait James Bond just kind of fizzeled.
