Their only relatively-decent options are:
>get Microsoft to host the servers for a discount (probably permanently locking the game as an exclusive too)>start adding DLC>downgrade the server, or switch to a new provider (this only prolongs the inevitable)>get the game on more platforms in a hurry to boost sales>pull a Pocketpair and make more games
