If it is a remake of Gold Silver using Let's Go as a base, it won't happen (introduced in Crystal, modern format wasn't until Gen 3). If it is HGSS similar to BDSP, will have one. If it is a Unova remake, will have the functionally similar Battle Subway. If it is a game similar to Legends Arceus in either region, it won't have one. If it is New region, it won't have one.
