Blue is objectively better. Dual screen and better sound.

Personally I'd just play the Switch remake.

I like the gba sounds more, but in comparison to the ds version it stutters a little
If you're emulating you can use the same save for both games
You'll have to change the in game settings if you go from ds to gba

They're essentially the same but if you're like me and prefer the GameBoy Advance over the DS for whatever reason (e.g. because you think GBA is more comfy) then Red Rescue Team is a great choice if you want to have a Mystery Dungeon experience exclusive to the GBA (Red is the only Mystery Dungeon game that's available on the GBA)

I should clarify that on the DS you can already get your Mystery Dungeon intake with Explorers of Sky.
If you just want to the Mystery Dungeon experience on the previous console the GBA then Red Rescue Team is best.
