They are ordered tuples which are supposed to represent genetics and experience so that should fit

Considering even VGC casters have slipped and said "Base Stats and EVs" on stream before, I think the ship has sailed on Species Strengths, Individual Strengths, and Base Stats. I will admit, in Gen 6 when the official terms debuted I tried to use them for a while, but at this point there's no reason to.

Yes, because the term was canonized in gen 4, and became the official term for alternate color Pokemon. Before that it was purely a fan term.
