Why did the Champion battle themes start becoming less of a battle theme and more of a celebration theme since Gen 5? Like instead of sounding like you're facing the ultimate challenge in the game it sounds like a victory theme as if you already won which has always been odd to me as shouldn't the celebratory music come when you active, you know, win, as opposed to during the fight? The only one to buck this trend is Kieran's champion theme but that one is also mixed with Kieran being the 'antagonist' of the DLC which muddies the waters on if this is simply a one off and GF will continue with the non-imposing champion battle themes or not. What makes this odder is that the Elite 4 battle themes have remained tense.
