How did this guy become the Top GameFreak authority?

And the most important man in the Pokémon world?

I went through his career:

>college dropout BGM composer in a low-bit era
>roommates with Ishihara, a man well known for not having worked a single minute in his entire life and still gets everything
>get hired by Tajiri and Sugimori to make the BGM for Pokémon on Ishihara's ticket (probably blackmail, but I can't prove it)
>possibly did coke at one point in his life and was known for being a particularly agitated boss
>at one point he made Tajiri never want to have anything to do with Pokémon for the rest of his life, despite being the creator
>had a panic attack before Ruby/Saphire due to imposter syndrome and had to be hospitalized (japanese for overdose)
>made Dawn wear a short skirt because he found it hot
>known for being machiavellian, purposefully splitting information between the japanese and american publics in order to control the spread of backlash
>known for purposefully cutting content and corners because old fans will just buy it anyway and new fans "don't have the attention spam"
>tells people to expect little of his games, basically the only person in the entire gaming industry to do so
>threw Ohmori under the bus on Twitter ahead of Sword/Shield release, saying the game was entirely Ohmori's work as director a few months after Masuda had make Pokémon fans want to lynch them
>somehow could not be fired as Nintendo and TPC showed great discontent with his work
>instead was promoted to a glorified retirement where he earns more, doesn't work and is redeemed as no one in GameFreak does a better job because he's not there

This dude was always sketchy to me, but now I'm intrigued exactly of how a music composer because so important.
