I personally go with Gen 2 (Silver/Gold/Crystal)...I always hated Ho-Oh, Sneasel, Miltank, Scizor, Blissey, Crobat, Kingdra, Hitmontop and that Ariados family. Noctowl and Hoothoot, very uncreative. Girafarig is ugly and weird. The 'Unown' alphabets are so weak & stupid. Only cool ones I liked were Heracross and Suicune. Even Steelix was kinda alright. They looked pretty cool but the rest was full of corny rehashes.
