You really wanted Paul to join the Shit Writing 8 just so he could have become a jobber and stepping stone for trAsh or Leon Sue?
Paul easily got the best and most respectful treatment out of all the returns in the entirety of shitneys.
Chilled out a ton, on his way to become a Gym Leader and last but not least was competitive with shitneys trAsh with three Pokemon he raised from zero to top 8 in the world-level, not to win, but just to train trAsh and prepare him for the M8. Not to mention he also imitated the battle styles of Lance, Steven and Cynthia so that the training went even deeper too.
Just imagine how strong his actual proper team is like if he was capable of this much with a "team for training."
The only fault of Paul's episode was that there was not a "Yeah, I beat Brandon" or something like that but even so for Shitneys standards, this was a 10/10 treatment.
