So instead of making a Mega Mightyena and Mega Liepard (maybe Mega Crobat since that is in the same position of Xersic's team as the other fours' face ones), you take away the Team Flare Scientists' Pokémon that could Mega Evolve and give them to others, then make them get mostly samefag teams when they had a distinct second member the first time around? That seems excessive, given they first fight you with only that Pokémon. Also the connection between Xerosic and Essentia is lost by removing the Crobat he gives to her and adding three she doesn't use.
