>>55405769>nostalgia That too I guess, because it honestly was the only reason I watched the nu-StarWars in cinema on release weekend, but then I've learned that one of the RotS' most blatant plotholes existed only because an important snippet of background info/lore - without which the final act of the Ep.9 feels like a near-unbelievable asspull - was intentionally locked behind a
timed Fortnite event, which I would still actually try to understand the producer's reasoning behind doing something like that if they used SW:BattleFront (2) - which was an actual StarWars game at the very least, so it would make sense as sort of a promotional deal. . .
But tough shit sucka, go buy this game that has no relation to the movie you're going to watch just to make proprer sense of it's storyline, and no we won't make up for anyone who missed-out on the timed event that's never coming back - we won't even include that stuff in the ExtendedEdition™ BLUrays - because how dare you expect our movie to be an actual complete product even if you bought the Director's Cut™?
Literally an unironic "don't ask questions, just cons00m!" moment if I ever saw one. . .
