Blaziken is only better in the sense that it's a more traditional Pokemon design, aesthetically I just never felt right about it. It would be better if it had big imposing talons and the feathers looked like flames etc, with a more dynamic posture. Instead it just looks badly proportioned, like the artist just thought "fuck it, I'll have this character wearing baggy ass Jnco jeans so I don't have to draw any feet".
Monkey is the least creative of the ideas, but aesthetically I think the most successful. Purely in visual terms, it just looks better.
