kind of. your opponents are way stronger and smarter, but it balances itself out because you get access to a LOT of good stuff. you'll get your ass kicked if you're nuzlocking because it's really not meant for that sort of thing, which is good because you can actually play the game and find it challenging without having to handicap yourself. picrel is my inclement emerald team right now, post-weather institute but pre-winona.

Technically not my current team (right now I'm breeding) but I've had this idea of doing a Gen 3 Living Dex for a while so I could have plenty of options for the Battle Frontier once I'm done with Colosseum and LeafGreen, so I did this instead of Fool's Gold. To be fair, I would still like to replay Fool's Gold eventually.

I don't understand, Route 11 just has some easy trainers and a skippable Virizion. I know you might be trying to be cute and different with some of those shitmons, but vanilla games are pretty fucking easy even with no EVs. I assume you're playing with level caps, so rare candy near to Drayden's level cap and do some exp management, and check what TMs you can use now.

Currently playing Silver. Here are the Pokémon I have in rotation. Not sure how the final team for the league will look. I have 3 badges for now, both Bugsy and Whitney were defeated by Gastly´s Curse, the last one was a tough match even then. I think both Oddish and Sunkern are really cute and I want to use them, but I already have a grass type starter so, it will be a bit hard since this game is not grass friendly.

Playing Pokemon Gaia. I love half my team not being fully evolved before the 5th gym, it actually owns.

How about Scolipede, or Pinsir/Heracross? Bug will let you hit Grass for and Dark types for Jellicent and Claydol. Maybe Volcarona for a fire-water-grass core, though its level up moveset makes it unappealing I think.
